Bluestone Lane is the first debut EP by the Hunter Express.

Each song on the EP is a story, grown from real life: as Ellis traverses and translates his own family stories and experiences into music. Each song takes you to a far away place, with its honest lyrical rawness and live recording, but also one that remarkably strikes close to home.

It was recorded at Newmarket Studios, North Melbourne and carefully put together by seasoned audio professionals. First it was engineered and produced under the wise guise of Callum John Barter, who’s worked with Fraser. A. Gorman and Dan Sultan. Afterwards, it was mastered by Steve Smart who has worked with the likes of both Vance Joy and Kasey Chambers.
